Si susseguono le prese di posizione molto critiche nei confronti della gestione dell’ASP di Agrigento. L’ultima in ordine di tempo arriva dall’associazione ORAZIO CAPURRO ODV, come sempre molto attenta alle tematiche ospedaliere e sanitarie della nostra provincia.
L’odierno intervento del suo presidente, Alessandro Capurro, riguarda il fatto che Direttore dell’U.O.C. di Medicina e Chirurgia d’Accettazione e d’Urgenza dell’Ospedale di Sciacca sia stato nominato anche Direttore f.f. della stessa U.O.C. dell’Ospedale di Agrigento, decisione questa che viene ritenuta da Capurro un fatto gravissimo che va stigmatizzato.
“I dipendenti dell’ASP – aggiunge Capurro – sono persone prima ancora che professionisti e non sono pedine posizionate su uno scacchiere, che possono essere spostate in qualsivoglia direzione. E le Unità Operative, allo stesso modo, non sono semplici caselle da riempire e sulle quali posizionare una X.
Occorre che ASP Agrigento capisca che non è possibile gestire o attivare Unità Operative a risorse umane invariate.
Quanto sta accadendo presso il Pronto Soccorso dell’Ospedale di Agrigento è la testimonianza di quanto grave sia la crisi gestionale che sta vivendo questa ASP, e a farne le spese sono sempre i pazienti e lo stesso personale sanitario che si trova ad essere “sballottato” da un Presidio Ospedaliero all’altro.
I vertici aziendali dell’ASP devono comprendere una volta per tutte V che gli Ospedali di Sciacca e di Agrigento sono entrambi DEA di Primo Livello e come tali devono essere diretti e devono avere le risorse umane e strumentali necessarie.
Il dott. Galizia non si tocca – afferma l’associazione Orazio Capurro ODV – perché non si può pensare che si divida tra due Ospedali così distanti, entrambi DEA di Primo Livello, e nel suo ruolo di Direttore dell’U.O.C. di M.C.A.U..
L’Ospedale di Sciacca, dal canto suo, merita di avere un Pronto Soccorso con un Direttore in esclusiva e che non sia sottoposto e/o esposto allo stress che si troverebbe a vivere qualora dovesse avere sulle sue spalle due Pronti Soccorso.
Alessandro Capurro allarga la visione ricordando che nel frattempo, proprio nel Presidio Ospedaliero Giovanni Paolo II, ancora si attendono: l’attivazione di importanti Unità Operative, prime fra tutte la Neurologia e la Stroke Unità; l’arrivo di dirigenti medici almeno nelle Unità Operative dove la carenza mette a rischio le attività operatorie, ambulatoriali e di degenza, e solo per citare le situazioni più gravi: Ortopedia ed Urologia; il potenziamento del Pronto Soccorso dove spesso accade che in turno ci sia un solo medico costretto a fronteggiare anche diverse emergenze contemporaneamente e a correre letteralmente da un paziente all’altro; per ultimo, ma non certamente per importanza, la copertura del posto di Direttore Sanitario di Presidio, al momento ricoperto nella qualità di facente funzioni, seppure con impegno, dal Direttore dell’U.O.C. di Cardiologia, UTIC ed Emodinamica.
Insomma, conclude Capurro, con riguardo all’Ospedale di Sciacca la misura ormai da tempo è colma, anzi stracolma!”.
