E a proposito di Ospedale, arriva stamattina anche una bordata da parte di TDM di Cittadinanzattiva contro i vertici del nosocomio (direttore generale Migliazzo) e dell’ASP agrigentina (commissario straordinario Zappia), ai quali si contesta di non aver mantenuto questo impegno assunto con tanto di comunicazione ufficiale:

In una lettera aperta indirizzata oggi a Zappia e a Migliazzo, Piera Di Martino e Lilla Piazza per conto di Cittadinanzattiva – Sciacca fanno infatti esplicito riferimento alla missiva di cui sopra, nella quale si assicurava l’attivazione per il primo giugno della nuova terapia antalgica, la cui attrezzatura (molto costosa) è già nella disponibilità dell’Ospedale di Sciacca da diversi mesi, e la cui entrata in funzione è già stata più volte sollecitata da TDM alle autorità sanitarie. Oggi TDM evidenzia con rammarico che tale importante apparecchiatura di terapia antalgica non è stata in realtà ancora resa operativa a danno dei potenziali utenti che attendono già da diversi mesi.
L’aspettativa di Cittadinanzattiva che ogni problema fosse stato finalmente risolto è stata quindi smentita dalla realtà dei fatti.
TDM riferisce che alcuni cittadini hanno segnalato di essersi recati più volte al CUP, con la prescrizione medica per fissare l’appuntamento della visita anestesiologica, preliminarmente necessaria, ma si sono sentiti rispondere che la piattaforma informatica del CUP non consente al momento di fissare appuntamenti per questo tipo di visite e che per esse occorreva rivolgersi direttamente ai medici in servizio presso L’AMBULATORIO anestesiologico annesso allo camera iperbarica.
Chi lo ha fatto, tuttavia, si è sentito obiettare che “l’Ospedale di Sciacca ha adesso questioni più importanti da affrontare” e che quando ci saranno le condizioni sicuramente saranno attivati tutti i servizi.
A questo punto, prendendo atto della situazione, il Tribunale per i Diritti del Malato si chiede chi rappresenti la voce ufficiale dell’ASP e per essa dell’Ospedale di Sciacca, visto che quanto ufficialmente viene comunicato dal direttore generale non viene poi realizzato.
Per questo TDM rinnova, per l’ennesima volta, la richiesta di conoscere la data nella quale sarà veramente attivata la Scrambler Therapy, che lo stesso commissario straordinario dell’ASP dr. Zappia aveva a suo tempo annunciato come qualcosa di veramente importante che veniva reso disponibile ai malati nell’ambito della medicina ospedaliera nel territorio di Sciacca
Il Tribunale per i Diritti del Malato dice a tal proposito di ricordare bene il comunicato stampa con il quale Zappia annunciava, con enfasi, il fatto che l’Unità operativa di anestesia e rianimazione di Sciacca sarebbe stata dotata dell’apparecchiatura di Scrambler Terapy per il trattamento sia del dolore cronico neoplastico, dovuto a patologia primitiva, metastasi e trattamenti di tipo chemioterapico, radioterapico e chirurgico, sia di quello di natura non neoplastica e legato a lombo sciatalgie, neuropatie post herpetiche, trigeminali o diabetiche, cervicalgie, sindrome dell’arto fantasma e nevralgie traumatiche o post chirurgiche e che l’obiettivo aziendale, perseguito dal commissario straordinario, era quello di migliorare le condizioni di salute e la qualità di vita di tanti pazienti garantendo una moderna ed efficace gamma di terapie contro il dolore cronico.
Proprio dando fede alle parole del commissario straordinario Cittadinanzattiva torna quindi a sollecitare oggi l’attivazione di tale presidio il più presto possibile, affinché si possa realizzare l’immediata entrata in funzione di quest’utile ed efficace terapia contro il dolore.
