In mancanza di precipitazioni intense, la gravissima situazione di degrado della Via al Lido rischiava di passare nel dimenticatoio, ma i lavori in corso per la sistemazione della sede stradale compromessa come al solito dal movimento franoso all’altezza della spiaggia della Tonnara l’hanno riportata di attualità.
C’è stato chi ha lamentato (giustamente) il fatto che ogni volta viene fatta una riparazione tampone senza mai intervenire sulla causa e chi invece non ha condiviso che si intervenisse su un singolo tratto di un’arteria che, poco meno di un chilometro dopo, risulta interrotta dalla nota frana del muro di contenimento della palazzina che è stata sgomberata, ragion per cui si sarebbe dovuta dare la priorità altre strade in condizioni disastrose ma transitabili.
In realtà l’intervento in via di completamento avrebbe già dovuto essere effettuato un anno addietro, i lavori erano già stati appaltati, ed è stato solo a causa di un problema legale e burocratico che si è tardato di ben 1 anno. Quindi meglio tardi che mai.
Tra l’altro poi la situazione della Via al Lido è talmente compromessa che se non si iniziano a fare dei rattoppi qua e là si rischia di arrivare alla prossima primavera/estate nelle attuali condizioni, con gravi conseguenze per ricaduta su tutta la viabilità cittadina.
Ci siamo informati sulla concreta possibilità di questi “rattoppi” della sede stradale, fermo restando che la problematica di fondo, quella del costone sovrastante che digrada dalla Perriera e che coinvolge AICA e Protezione Civile, rimane al momento irrisolta.
Per quanto riguarda l’ipotizzato bypass della parte franata a novembre sulla palazzina sottostante, ci è stato detto che per sua realizzazione si attende adesso il definitivo benestare di uno solo dei proprietari dei terreni interessati adiacenti alla carreggiata.
Per tutte le altre compromissioni della sede stradale, che in parte documentiamo con le foto, c’è l’intenzione di intervenire prima della stagione estiva, congiuntamente AICA e Comune di Sciacca, quest’ultimo reperendo i fondi necessari ai diversi “rattoppi” dopo l’approvazione del bilancio che è prevista a breve.
