Riceviamo da un lettore e pubblichiamo:
“Cronaca di ordinaria follia presso l’Ospedale di Sciacca.
Come da referto, avrei dovuto rimuovere oggi il gesso al braccio. Mi presento al CUP per vidimare la ricetta degli esami radiologici e visita ortopedica e l’impiegata allo sportello mi comunica immediatamente che a causa della CHIUSURA del reparto di ortopedia di Sciacca, dovrei presentarmi la prossima settimana (23 o 24 Novembre) ad Agrigento per rimuovere il gesso.
Cerco di spiegarle che é oggi il giorno stabilito per la rimozione, ma nulla da fare. Allora chiedo che mi facciano le radiografie e almeno questo riesco ad ottenerlo. Salgo in reparto, ed effettivamente è tutto chiuso. Luci spente e porta serrata. Suono il citofono e una infermiera mi conferma che il reparto è vuoto e non c’è nessun medico che possa rimuovere il gesso e mi consiglia di andare direttamente ad Agrigento.
Torno al CUP e dopo qualche civile insistenza riesco ad ottenere una visita per Lunedì prossimo ad Agrigento.
Rientrando a casa, ascolto sul TG di Rmk Sciacca l’intervista del primario di Ortopedia che nega spudoratamente la chiusura del reparto di Sciacca; il commissario straordinario dell’ASP, felicemente annuncia che per DUE giorni a settimana arriveranno medici dall’ospedale Civico di Palermo per dare supporto e che hanno già chiuso il bando per l’esternalizzazione del servizio.
Mi chiedo: ma questi sarebbero i risultati di cui vantarsi?
Io VOGLIO un ospedale che funzioni h24 e 365 giorni l’anno!
Ma questi dove trovano il coraggio di presentarsi alla stampa e continuare a prendere i cittadini in giro?
Ma perché non fanno una buona azione, dimettendosi, se non sono in grado di risolvere i problemi dei cittadini?
Ma è così difficile mettere un medico per effettuare quantomeno un servizio ambulatoriale ogni giorno?
Come ciliegina sulla torta, mi trovo ad ascoltare un signore che lamentandosi non più di tanto, afferma testualmente:

E probabilmente in Sicilia le cose non cambiano perché ci sono persone come te che non fanno nulla per cambiare.
Ti consiglio di essere presente alla prossima grande manifestazione. Che sia per l’Ospedale, per le Terme o per qualunque cosa serva a cambiare una mentalità come la tua…”.
