Qual è a vostro avviso il rumore che vi infastidisce maggiormente?
Il mio è senza dubbio il rumore dei motori e degli scooter con le marmitte truccate. Si tratta fortunatamente di una minima parte, ma che vale per tutte le moto del traffico stradale.
In particolare, oltre a dover convivere con il traffico e l’inquinamento da polveri sottili, incide parecchio sulla qualità della nostra vita anche l’inquinamento acustico. È insopportabile sentire sfrecciare scooter e moto che creano frastuono a causa delle marmitte truccate oppure dei motori che girano a vuoto.
Molte volte non si riesce a comunicare con la persona accanto tanto da dover fare una pausa per poi riprendere finalmente la conversazione.
In teoria per legge, ci sarebbe un massimo di decibel da rispettare. In pratica non sembra che i motociclisti siano preoccupati di subire controlli ed eventuali multe, né si mostrano sensibili rispetto a questo tema che danneggia la comunità e non solo.
Infatti non oso immaginare cosa pensino le migliaia di turisti che visitano il nostro centro storico o i nostri quartieri tipici.
In pratica, per un semplice capriccio di qualcuno, la maggior parte dei pedoni e dei residenti sono condizionati da questi comportamenti rumorosi e non riescono a godersi del tutto le bellezze architettoniche, artistiche e paesaggistiche che ci circondano.
E’ una parte di un post che ho pubblicato qualche settimana fa. Ma a parte il numero dei consensi, non mi aspettavo niente e non è successo niente. I motorini circolano a qualunque ora del giorno e della notte disturbando tutti e infischiandosene di infrangere leggi sull’inquinamento acustico, e del codice stradale, dato che è severamente vietato apportare modifiche al silenziatore della marmitta. Quando a tarda serata o per meglio dire di notte, cominciano a rientrare a casa, il rumore n tutta a città che provoca questo sciame di motorini è a dir poco paradossale, da incubo.
Allo Stazzone, in particolare poi, questi motorini hanno accesso alla zona centrale dove ci sono i locali, che inspiegabilmente viene lasciata aperta al traffico. Questo fenomeno di disturbo autorizzato o per meglio dire tollerato, credo esista ormai solo da noi. Non si vuole capire che là dove hanno creato le zone pedonali e vigilano per il rispetto delle regole, la presenza di turisti e residenti è notevolmente aumentata. E’ migliorata la qualità di vita in tutta la città, e si è verificato un forte incremento di introiti per le attività commerciali perchè il target delle presenze è cambiato.
Sciacca però è una città che non cambia e non vuole cambiare. Dove ognuno fa quello che vuole. Dove mancano controlli e sanzioni. Dove il privilegio di un singolo mortifica i diritti di una comunità. Dove il degrado urbano e ambientale è sotto gli occhi di tutti. Dove purtroppo si avverte il silenzio assordante di chi è deputato a tracciare le linee guida per lo sviluppo la crescita e il progresso.
Ma! E pensare che c’è ancora chi parla di turismo.
Sono completamente d’accordo con Gino, noi che d’estate abitiamo lo Stazzone per un periodo di riposo, dobbiamo sopportare questo abuso nei confronti dei cittadini, residenti e no, tutte le notti. Le autorità competenti: perchè non intervengono a questo problema? Basterebbe una settimana di controllo, saltuariamente, sequestrare un pò di motorini così diventa un deterrente per gli altri. In una città che si rispetta e vuole accedere an un ruolo di città turistica non deve essere vittima di alcuni facinorosi che disturbano la quiete cittadina. Un pò di educazione civica bisognerebbe divulgarla attraverso uno spot che potrebbe fare l’amministrazione sulle tv locali, potrebbe essere un suggerimento per tutti coloro che se ne fregano delle leggi in vigore e che nessuno rispetta. ANCHE IL NOSTRO PRIMO CITTADINO DOVREBBE INTERVENIRE IN QUESTA QUESTIONE MOLTO DELICATA, interloquire con le forze dell’ordine, con i Vigili Urbani con interventi mirati a supporto di questa maldicenza abitudinaria che ormai perdura da molto tempo, purtroppo. Insomma si deve intervenire e non fare “orecchie da mercante”, una domanda che viene spontanea: le istituzione perchè ci stanno!! (mi rispondo io stesso) sono coloro che dovrebbero controllare l’ordine pubblico. Buon lavoro a tutti.
