“Adotta un amico”. L’Amministrazione comunale di Sciacca ha avviato una campagna di sensibilizzazione finalizzata all’adozione dei cani. Sono gli animali (circa 200) abbandonati o in stato di randagismo catturati negli anni e custoditi nei due canili, di Sciacca e Sambuca di Sicilia, convenzionati col Comune di Sciacca.
Ne danno comunicazione il sindaco Fabio Termine e l’assessore al Randagismo e ai Diritti degli Animali Agnese Sinagra nell’invitare gli amanti dei cani a farsi avanti, da Sciacca e da qualsiasi altra parte d’Italia, per dare il conforto di una casa e di un affetto agli animali di Sciacca, perché non attendono altro.
Sul sito istituzionale del Comune di Sciacca (www.comunedisciacca.it) è stata creata una sezione denominata “Adotta un amico”, già contenente le prime schede dei cani adottabili, con la loro immagine, il nome, il sesso, la taglia, la razza e la data di nascita. La pagina verrà aggiornata costantemente, con nuove schede.
I cani sono già sterilizzati e microchippati.
Gli amanti dei cani possono consultare le schede sul sito del Comune di Sciacca per scegliere l’amico da adottare e portarsi a casa, in famiglia, oppure recarsi in uno dei due canili convenzionati per scegliersi un altro animale.
La procedura di adozione è veloce. Gli interessati per maggiori informazioni e avviare le pratiche di affidamento possono contattare l’Ufficio Randagismo del Comune di Sciacca.
