MENFI in Festa – Identità e Territorio è innanzitutto amore per il proprio paese, è voglia di unione, di sentirsi comunità, è emozione, è movimento, è allegria, è corrispondenza. È il singolo che diventa collettività.
Nasce dall’idea di Vito Clemente, lanciata sui social, di organizzare una manifestazione attraverso la quale la città di Menfi diventi un motore di condivisione per tutte le attività del luogo, come espressione e affermazione di identità territoriale.

Da questo input iniziale e dalle tante adesioni ricevute germoglia il desiderio di riscoprire la gioia dell’aggregazione e di ridare vita ad una voglia di condivisione da troppo tempo sopita, ciascuno con il proprio sapere, la propria arte e le proprie idee.
Il programma della manifestazione dal 1 al 2 Ottobre è ricco di eventi. Dallo Spazio Culturale, con presentazioni di libri, letture per bambini, recital di poesie, docufilm, teatro, mostre di pittura ed esposizioni artistiche, allo Spazio Artigianato, con laboratori dall’impagliatura all’uncinetto, alle creazioni e collezioni. Da uno Spazio Enogastronomico, con scuola di cucina, vino, dolci, cibo di strada, panifici, oleifici, birrifici, momento del caffè e della porchetta, ad uno Spazio Sport e Svago con pedalata ecologica, raduno di auto e moto d’epoca, lezioni di Muay Thai, calcetto e tanta animazione.E non manca lo Spazio della sensibilizzazione solidale, del benessere, della prevenzione e salute. Grande novità l’Urban tour, una passeggiata in città tra cortili, circoli, aneddoti e curiosità…una via dei tesori menfitana.
Grazie all’associazione Contrada Fiori Puccio che si è intestata la manifestazione, alla direzione artistica di Piero Mangiaracina, alla direzione tecnica di Ivan Barreca, a Simona Cutrano, logo designer e video maker, e ai tantissimi cittadini, sabato 1 e domenica 2 ottobre MENFI si veste a FESTA.
