” Le Memorie di Tutti” : è questo il titolo del Concorso promosso dal Ministero dell’Istruzione di concerto con la Fondazione Falcone per commemorare il trentennale delle stragi di Capaci e Via D’Amelio, rivolto a tutte le scuole, di ogni ordine e grado.
Gli studenti sono stati invitati ad aderire ad un appello alla creatività, realizzando un lenzuolo personalizzato in ricordo dei caduti nella lotta alle mafie. I lenzuoli bianchi, così, che per molti anni hanno coperto i corpi delle vittime di mafia, sono divenuti dal 1992 a Palermo simbolo di un popolo, il popolo siciliano, che si ribella e dice No alla violenza.
Simboli, loghi e frasi di chi ha pagato con la vita per affermare i valori di legalità e giustizia sono stati dipinti nei nove lenzuoli dipinti realizzati dalle 17 classi dell’ Istituto “Agostino Inveges ” che ha aderito ed abbracciato l’iniziativa…
Falcone… Borsellino… Impastato… Miraglia… Rita Atria… Temi quali il rimorso, il pentimento, la coscienza… Così i ragazzi hanno empaticamente avvolto in abbracci metaforici questo importante percorso di educazione alla legalità intrapreso dalla Media Inveges.
I lenzuoli, prima di essere inviati alla Fondazione Falcone, sono stati esposti ieri mattina dalle finestre poste al piano terra della scuola per essere mostrati e fruiti dai ragazzi stessi e dalla cittadinanza.
Il 23 maggio verranno esposti nella città di Palermo: negli spazi dell’installazione posta in Piazza Magione, “Il cantiere del futuro” e nei balconi dei palermitani che hanno aderito all’iniziativa. Dopo, i lenzuoli provenienti da tutta Italia arriveranno al Ministero per essere nuovamente esposti, come in una sorta di carovana della legalità che si esprime attraverso quei teli dipinti, in piazze italiane che hanno vissuto nel tempo gli eccidi per mano delle mafie.
Solo attraversando il dolore e le tragedie si cresce. Solo conoscendo ciò che è stato si può costruire un futuro all’interno di quei valori di senso che rendono gli uomini veri esseri umani.
